Mobby for Chrome is a browser extension that lets the Mobby desktop assistant on your own computer work in the Chrome tabs you choose to share with it. This page explains what the extension stores, what it can reach, and where data goes. It covers the extension only; the Mobby desktop app and our website are covered by the soyes.ai Privacy Policy. 1. In short1. 簡而言之

  • The extension connects only to the Mobby app running on the same computer. It accepts a connection only from the loopback address (127.0.0.1 or [::1]); it refuses any other address.
  • It does not send data to soyes.ai or to any other server, and it has no analytics or advertising.
  • It does not store the content of the pages you share. The only thing it keeps is a random connection token on your own device.
  • It never types passwords or card numbers, even if you approve.
  • It never lets the AI read, change or clear your soyes.ai sign-in cookies or site storage.
  • It cannot open or act on certain pages at all (see section 5).

2. What the extension does2. 擴充功能的用途

When you start a task in the Mobby desktop app, Mobby asks the extension to connect. You choose which tab or tabs to share (you can also drag tabs into the tab group the extension creates). Mobby can then look at and operate those tabs — for example read the page, click and type — through Chrome's debugging interface. Sensitive steps such as submitting a form, paying or sending a message need your approval before they go ahead. You can disconnect at any time from the extension's toolbar button. Only approve a connection from an app you trust: the approval page warns that a connection can expose signed-in sessions and content in your browser.

3. What the extension stores3. 擴充功能儲存的資料

  • A random connection token, generated on your device and kept in the extension's own local browser storage. It lets Mobby reconnect without showing the approval dialog each time. It is never sent anywhere by the extension. Anything on your computer that holds this token can reconnect to the extension without asking, until you generate a new one with the refresh button on the extension's status page; a new token revokes the old one.
  • The extension does not write page content, snapshots, screenshots, typed text or browsing history to storage. Page data passes through the extension to Mobby while a connection is open and is not kept by the extension.

4. Where data goes4. 資料流向

While a connection is open, the content of the tabs you shared (page text, structure and the actions Mobby takes) travels between the extension and the Mobby app over a connection that stays on your own computer. The extension has no server of its own and makes no other network connection. What the Mobby app then does with that content to carry out your request is described in the soyes.ai Privacy Policy. Because of this, share only the tabs you want Mobby to work on.

5. What the extension will never do5. 擴充功能絕不會做的事

  • Open or act on blocked pages. The AI can never open, attach to, read or act on: chrome:, chrome-extension:, chrome-untrusted:, devtools:, edge:, view-source:, file: and javascript: addresses; about: pages other than about:blank; and the /pos/, /frontdesk/ and /admin/ sections of soyes.ai. If a shared tab navigates to one of these, it is disconnected immediately, and blocked tabs are hidden from the tab list.
  • Type passwords or card numbers. Typing into password fields, card-number, expiry and security-code fields, one-time-code fields and similar fields is refused, and so is pasting into them. Any typed text or script containing a valid card number is refused, including a card number typed one key at a time. Your approval does not override this.
  • Reach your soyes.ai sign-in. soyes.ai cookies are removed from anything the extension passes to the AI, and the AI cannot set, delete or clear them, read soyes.ai site storage or soyes.ai network responses, or clear all of your cookies.
  • Sell your data, use it for advertising, or track which sites you visit.
  • Connect to anything other than the Mobby app on your own computer.

6. Permissions and why they are needed6. 所需權限及原因

  • debugger — the way Mobby reads and operates the tabs you share (Chrome's debugging interface). Chrome shows its own "started debugging this browser" banner while it is in use.
  • tabs — to list your open tabs so you can choose which to share, and to open and close tabs that you have shared with Mobby.
  • tabGroups — to put the tabs you share in a labelled tab group, so you can see at a glance what Mobby can reach.
  • activeTab — to act on the tab you are currently using when you click the extension's button.
  • Access to all sites (<all_urls>) — you may ask Mobby to work on any website, so the extension cannot know in advance which one. This access is used only for tabs you share, and never for the blocked pages in section 5.
  • debugger — Mobby 讀取及操作你所分享分頁的方式（Chrome 的除錯介面）。使用期間，Chrome 會顯示自己的「已開始對此瀏覽器進行偵錯」橫幅。

7. Retention and your choices7. 保存期限及你的選擇

The connection token stays on your device until you regenerate it or remove the extension. Disconnect at any time from the extension's toolbar button; closing the shared tab or quitting Mobby also ends access. Removing the extension deletes everything it stored. The extension is based on the open-source Playwright extension (Apache-2.0) from Microsoft.
